15 problematic "Apple" stores investigated in Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province

On the afternoon of December 29th, the Market Supervision Bureau of Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province, organized more than 60 law enforcement officers from the market supervision bureaus and branches in Guangling, Jiangdu, Hanjiang, and Gaoyou regions to conduct a surprise inspection of 20 stores selling Apple phones in their jurisdiction, braving snow.
Fifteen stores selling counterfeit "Apple" phone accessories and engaging in false advertising were seized. Nearly 700 counterfeit "Apple" data cables, headphones, power adapters, batteries, phone protective cases, and other items were seized on site. Six merchants who falsely used the "Apple" trademark and falsely labeled "exclusive" and "authorized dealers" were ordered to immediately correct their illegal behavior.
Law enforcement officers from the Market Supervision Bureau of Yangzhou City discovered through preliminary undercover investigations that many mobile phone merchants selling so-called "Apple" exclusive stores and authorized dealers in various regions were not authorized by Apple, and many of them sold counterfeit "Apple" accessories. On the afternoon of December 29th, led by the Municipal Bureau Inspection Bureau and coordinated at three levels, law enforcement officers conducted a centralized investigation and handling operation on 20 mobile phone stores at a unified time, with prior inspection and careful deployment.
Since the deployment of the "Iron Fist" action for intellectual property law enforcement by the Market Supervision Bureau of Yangzhou City in 2020, 133 intellectual property cases have been filed and investigated, with a total fine of 3.81 million yuan, and 5 cases have been transferred to judicial organs.
