Two brothers caught selling counterfeit branded toner cartridges
At the end of last year, the Hefei Economic and Technological Development Police reported that there were a large number of counterfeit well-known brand trademark toner cartridges for sale in the northern market of China, and it was found that these counterfeit toner cartridges were suspected to come from an industrial park in Hefei. Recently, the task force actively collaborated with market regulatory authorities to destroy the production and sale of counterfeit branded toner cartridges, and arrested all suspects, including Meng and his brother. After investigation, Meng originally opened an office consumables store in a square on Mount Huangshan Road, Hefei City, and began to manufacture counterfeit brand toner cartridges at the beginning of 2016 and sell them all over the country. During this time, Meng also rented a factory in an industrial park and co produced counterfeit branded toner boxes with his brother Meng.
Based on comprehensive calculation of transaction data, from March 2016 to the incident, the two brothers Meng produced more than 30000 counterfeit brand toner boxes, with sales reaching over 5 million yuan.
