Criminal Case of Counterfeiting a Famous Brand Carbon Powder Series in Beijing and Hebei Province

Investigation process:
In 2016, our company discovered through several months of investigation that a group of people were storing and selling a well-known brand of carbon powder in a warehouse in Beijing. The group would ship raw materials to Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province for processing every week (related case). Therefore, our personnel reported to the relevant leaders of Zhangjiakou Public Security Bureau. On October 24, 2016, our company's personnel collaborated with the investigating police officers to inspect the target site and then connected with the personnel of the Economic Investigation Brigade in Changping District, Beijing. The leaders of Changping District assisted in cracking down on the case.
Investigation results:
In Zhangjiakou, approximately 407 counterfeit carbon powders of a certain brand were seized, along with approximately 7200 related labels;
On the same day in Beijing, approximately 3639 counterfeit carbon powders of a certain brand were seized, including about 100 carbon powder packaging boxes, about 510 anti-counterfeiting labels, and about 495 labels.
At present, the parties involved have been arrested and the case is still in the sentencing stage.
