Criminal case of a large-scale carbon powder counterfeiting and sales gang in Baiyun District, Guangzhou City

Investigation process:
In 2015, our investigator was monitoring several factories in Guangdong Province that produce unmarked carbon powder containers and found that some factories frequently shipped goods to the logistics distribution center in Baiyun District, Guangzhou. After a period of monitoring and tracking, suspicious vehicles were identified and followed to their unloading points, finally discovering the large carbon powder counterfeiting and sales gang.
The counterfeit toner brand of this gang involves multiple well-known brands in the market. In addition to the counterfeit production center located in Baiyun District, there is also a warehouse in Baiyun District for storing counterfeit materials. On April 3, 2015, our company coordinated with the Baiyun Branch of Guangzhou Public Security Bureau to carry out criminal investigations on two target points of the gang.
Investigation results:
A total of thousands of counterfeit carbon powders from well-known brands were seized, and tens of thousands of counterfeit production materials were seized;
One party was criminally detained on the day of investigation, and the main party was arrested the following month.
The case is still in the trial stage.
