Criminal case of an unnamed hideout in Baiyun District, Guangzhou, which counterfeits well-known artificial yellow cream and potato flour

Investigation process:
In July 2016, our investigator discovered during routine market visits that a gang regularly delivered goods to a large wholesale market in Baiyun District, with counterfeit products involving a well-known brand of artificial yellow cream and a brand of potato flour. Through long-term investigation and tracking, the hideout and warehouse of the counterfeit gang have been identified.
On October 24, 2016, I assisted the Food, Drug and Environmental Crime Investigation Brigade of Guangzhou Public Security Bureau in carrying out a criminal crackdown on the gang.
Investigation results:
A total of 296 barrels (16kg/barrel) of counterfeit well-known artificial yellow cream, 1294 cans (2.46kg/can) of well-known potato flour, a batch of raw materials and packaging materials, and several counterfeit tools were seized;
The party involved was criminally detained on the day of investigation and was arrested on November 30, 2016.
The case has now entered the sentencing stage.
